Remove Line Breaks

Fix text copied from PDFs and emails — join broken lines into clean flowing paragraphs.

About this tool

Text copied from a PDF or an email arrives with a line break at the end of every visual line, making it useless to paste anywhere. This tool joins those broken lines back into flowing text — and, if you keep the paragraph option on, blank-line separations survive as real paragraph breaks.

Double spaces created by the joins are cleaned automatically.

How to use

  1. Paste the broken text.
  2. Choose whether to preserve paragraphs.
  3. Click Remove line breaks and copy the clean text.

Frequently asked questions

PDFs store text by visual position, so copying grabs each displayed line separately — every visual line-wrap becomes a hard line break.

Blank lines (two breaks in a row) are treated as intentional paragraph separations and preserved; only single mid-paragraph breaks are removed.

Yes, single-line bullets get joined — turn off "keep paragraphs" only when you truly want one continuous block.
